About & FAQS
My name is Lydia, and I make a variety of arts and crafts. Every item in this shop is handmade by me. Each order includes a free sticker of my cat, Romeo, and a thank-you card.
What are you working on right now?
If you’ve seen my booth at events this year, you’ve seen a LOT of new jewelry and a new name! My mom and I began handmaking jewelry to sell at festivals and markets over a decade ago. She passed away this year, and I’ve found joy in creating jewelry with the charms, beads, and jewelry-making knowledge she left behind. As I work to combine both our crafting styles and supplies, I’ve given the website an update with a new name: Tulgey Wood Treasures, to reflect the shared love for nature and storybook whimsy shared by my mom and me.
This most recent update has been a long time coming (as I originally estimated an update in July). I almost entirely stepped away from crafting and social media for a few months while I worked to sort through the unexpected loss of my mom. Then, in July, I lost my grandma. I didn’t post about it at the time, as my grandma’s wishes were to have no big announcements about her passing. She always knew what she wanted, and she believed that if someone didn’t send their love to her while she was here, she didn’t want them saying it online or at her funeral either! I chose to use the remainder of my Summer to spend time with family and support them, and to also make some changes in my own life that would make me happier – I applied for a new job, and thought hard about how I’d proceed with crafting and selling my creations. I had to reorganize everything and find a way to combine my mom’s crafting techniques and supplies with mine, and I took advantage of Summer/Autumn markets and craft fairs to start testing out that crossover. There were a few times when I thought I might be ready to move forward, but was not able to move forward with everything all at once, so this update has truly been one small step at a time. I really appreciated the suggestions I received from people at my in-person events this year, and thank everyone for their patience while I figured things out. This year’s Winter update is hopefully just the beginning of a few updates planned for this year, with another update coming in February!
Future updates include:
Charm bracelets
Phone charms
Earrings
Beaded bracelets and necklaces
Woven bracelets and necklaces
Clay charms (handmade by me)
Gemstone necklaces
More keychains
More stickers

Are any items limited edition or will they be restocked?
Items may or may not be restocked. I make everything at home, so items that include resin or other temperature-sensitive chemicals can only be made outside during warm weather and are dependent on the availability of supplies. Jewelry will be restocked if I have the materials, and stickers will be restocked in batches. Larger items like the drawstring bell bags and other lifestyle goods are harder to store, so they will not be restocked unless there is demand for them.
What happens if there’s an issue with my order?
Crafting is unfortunately not my full-time job, so please be patient regarding any concerns about orders. I will always respond to your message within a day or two, but if an item needs to be tracked down with the post office or gets returned to sender, it may take some time to resolve your concern. I keep extra stock to replace damaged or lost items when I can, but some items may not have a replacement available, or there may be a delay as I recreate them.
Do you take requests or commissions?
I’m always looking to make new things, so stock will vary as I get into new projects. If you have any requests for items in new variants such as photocard charms or gemstones, please send me an email at forestemo@gmail.com or a DM via social media and I’ll see if I can make it!
If you are only requesting an item, making it will be at my discretion. If you’d like to commission an item or make a bulk order, I will require partial or full payment before the item is made and full payment before it ships so that I do not waste time and supplies.
